My name is Sumner, and I live in Denver, Colorado. I am a tech lead at Can/Am Technologies, a 4th Degree Black Belt and certified instructor in ATA Taekwondo under Chief Master Corina Black, and a Colorado School of Mines alum.

I like building software which solves difficult and real problems, and I enjoy helping others develop their careers in software. You can find my professional achievements on my portfolio.

When I’m not programming or training at taekwondo, I’m probably doing something else very active. In the winter, I love to ski, and during the warmer months I enjoy playing various sports such as soccer, volleyball, raquetball, ultimate frisbee, and basically anything else you convince me to try.
